Tips from locals
Living in Ericeira, Portugal, is all about adventure, surf culture, and community. The town offers everything: gyms, supermarkets, live music, epic parties, yoga studios, surf shops, and cafes. Stunning beaches like Foz do Lizandro and Praia do Sul are within walking distance, perfect for surfers of all levels. If you have a car, exploring other beaches is a breeze, but Ubers are also cheap. Our community often goes to Friday after-work drinks at Board Riders for live music and breathtaking sunsets.
Grocery stores are just an 8-minute bike ride away, and if you are heading that way anyway, make sure to drop by Dear Rose Café for some excellent coffee. Local lunch menus are budget-friendly at around €10, but if you are feeling like some fine dining, there are plenty of options around for that too.
Good to know, with Lisbon just a 40-minute drive away, you can easily plan a weekend getaway or a coworking day trip, especially if you have a car.
