OWL'S NEST
Work and unwind in a spacious finca just outside the center - quiet, green, with volcano views, a homey vibe, and a few friendly pets around.

WORKSPACE | COLIVING ANTIGUA
With volcano views
Work from multiple spots across the finca - your own desk, shared indoor areas, or outdoor terraces with space to spread out. It’s a big place, so you won’t feel stuck in one setup.
The internet is strong with a dual setup (Starlink + backup line), suitable for calls and daily work. The overall vibe is calm and homey, green lush surroundings, with volcano views always somewhere in sight.
COMMUNITY | COLIVING ANTIGUA
Creative · Balanced · Adventurous
Set in a family run space with gorgeous views, the community feels calm, creative, and homey, with roaming animals adding an exotic touch. Mornings begin as everyone gathers in the kitchen for breakfast, easing into a slow start and stories from local hosts. By day, the rhythm is work focused and balanced, with space for privacy, outdoor working, yoga, or nearby exploring.
After work, El Pilar’s spring water pools offer a refreshing nearby reset, while evenings bring shared dinners, meals out, or quieter moments. Weekends often lead to guided volcano climbs or a longer trip to Lake Atitlan. From hosts to guests and our Community Manager, everyone helps co-create a welcoming, grounded atmosphere.

Antigua Guatemala
Set at 1,500 meters in Guatemala’s highlands, Antigua has a mild, spring-like climate year-round. Volcanoes frame the horizon, and the town itself is a mix of colonial architecture, small local businesses, and a steady flow of travelers and remote workers. It’s not a big city, but it doesn’t feel small either - there’s a constant sense of movement without it ever getting overwhelming.
There’s a lot packed into a relatively compact place. You’ll find a strong café culture, a surprisingly big food scene, and plenty of options to stay active, from volcano hikes to yoga classes and weekend trips to Lake Atitlán or the Pacific coast. The digital nomad community is present but not dominant, which makes it easy to plug in when you want, and step away when you don’t.

Antigua opening month - August
This opening month is an invitation to co-create Nomadico Antigua with us: 33% off, meet the local hosts and connect with their passions, discover the story of the property, and help shape the community from day one.

With Shaman & BBQ

With Shaman & BBQ
Three opening events
During the first 3 weeks, our hosts will plan three special opening experiences:
New Chapter Ceremony
A traditional Guatemalan shaman will guide a ceremony to mark this new beginning, followed by a barbecue with ingredients chosen together at the local market.
Antigua’s Music Scene with Lars
Lars, a musician and local music lover, will introduce guests to some of his favourite authentic spots in Antigua, ending with a live jam session.
Peter’s Coffee & Cacao Story
Peter will share his love for coffee and cacao, connecting guests with Antigua’s finca culture, local flavours, and the story of the property.
Come early. Meet the hosts. Help shape the house.
Antigua - Santa Ana area
Owl's Nest is located in a calm area just outside the center of Antigua. You’re a short walk from the main streets, but without the noise and foot traffic that comes with it. The area feels local, with small shops, friendly neighbors, and a more laid-back rhythm compared to the center.
Day-to-day life here is flexible. You can head into town for cafés, restaurants, or coworking spots, or stay closer to home for a more low-key setup. Natural springs and hiking trails (El Pilar) are close by if you want a quick reset in nature.
Meet our local partners
What started as a home built for the Salinas family later evolved into a small hotel, welcoming travelers from around the world. From Aug'26, it will be reshaped into a coliving, bringing the space back to its original purpose: sharing it with others, just in a more global way.

I stayed at Owl's Nest for a week and I felt so welcomed by Peter and Chris and the family! The house is beautiful and so peaceful with views of the volcanos! And I fell in love with Antigua- the history, friendly locals and the cutest cafes!

FAQ | Coliving Antigua
How to get to Nomadico?
✈️ By plane
Fly into Aurora International Airport (GUA) in Guatemala City. From there, it’s about a 1-hour drive to Antigua. Grab an Uber (usually $40-50 USD), or let us know if you’d like a ride—we’ve got a trusted driver who can pick you up and get you here hassle-free.
🚗 By car
Just pop “Nomadico Antigua” into Google Maps and follow the scenic route. We’ll be waiting with a warm welcome!
Kitchen & laundry facilities
There’s a shared kitchen you can use for your own meals, plus plenty of great eating-out options nearby. Laundry can be arranged locally - either drop-off services in town or pickups arranged through the house.
Public transport - do I need to rent a car?
No need. Most people walk, use Uber, or occasionally take a tuk-tuk. The town center is about 15–20 minutes away. Public buses exist but aren’t very intuitive if you’re new - Uber is cheap and easy.
How to book & pay
You can book directly through Nomadico’s website. Depending on the stay, you’ll either confirm instantly or send a request first. Payment is handled online, with clear steps during checkout.
Is it expensive?
Affordable overall, especially compared to Europe or the US. You can eat locally for a few dollars or go higher-end if you want. There’s a wide range depending on your lifestyle.
Coworking - can I take calls & rely on good Wi-Fi?
Yes - the WiFi is solid for remote work, including calls. The setup is more “home workspace” than formal coworking, so for longer or important calls, a private room is best. Many guests also rotate between home, cafés, and coworking spots in town.
Nearby shops
Basic shops are right across the street for essentials like eggs, fruit, and snacks. Larger supermarkets are about a 10-minute drive. You can also order groceries or meals via delivery apps like PedidosYa or Uber Eats.
What to do in the area
Volcano hikes are the big one. You’ve also got ATV tours, yoga, markets, and a huge food scene (500+ restaurants). Nearby, El Pilar offers spring-fed pools and hiking trails. For weekends, head to the beach (2–3h) or Lake Atitlán.
Is it safe?
Yes - Antigua is generally safe and well-traveled. Like anywhere, basic awareness is enough, especially at night. The neighborhood itself is calm and residential.
Is there a community manager?
Yes! Our Nomadico community manager will help you get settled, organize hikes, dinners, and fun adventures with other nomads.
