FRANCESCO'S HOME

Live and work in an 18th century farm with fields that have turned into forest and an epic view of the Mugello valley. Live alongside animals, and feel part of something rooted and real.

WORKSPACE | COLIVING TUSCANY

Work with a Mediterranean Rhythm

Connected via Starlink, supported by a mesh WiFi network, with ergonomic seating and reliable connectivity across the property, even in this remote forest setting.

Each room has its own desk, plus a dedicated coworking space for focused work. You can also set up at communal tables, under the pergola, at an outdoor standing desk, or on the forest terrace.

Plenty of natural light, quiet when you need it, and strong internet throughout.

Built for remote work, just surrounded by trees instead of traffic.

COMMUNITY | COLIVING TUSCANY

Grounded · Familiar · Nature

Mornings often start outdoors, with optional proposals like a small hike, some gardening, or a hands-on moment in farm life, before everyone eases into remote work. Days are a balanced mix of indoor and outdoor productivity, shaped by the natural pace of the place and birdsong. Evenings often bring everyone back together through communal weekday dinners, long conversations, and simple shared moments, alongside local experiences like a restaurant, event, or market.

Weekends open up the wider Tuscany playground, with a day in Florence, a hike with a night in a refuge, a trip to Siena or Lucca, or in summer, waterfalls and lake days. This is a living place, still evolving, and part of its charm is that guests can gently take part in its rhythm. From hosts to guests and our Community Manager, everyone helps co-create the week, making it feel grounded, warm, and genuinely connected.

Tuscany

Life here moves with the seasons, and that is part of the magic. You can spend your days hiking through forests, helping in the garden, harvesting chestnuts or olives, or joining small community projects around the farm.

On Thursdays, head to the local market for fresh produce, cheese, and conversations with farmers who know your name by week two. Evenings might mean a sunset aperitivo, a local cultural event, or dinner at a family-run trattoria.

When you feel like exploring further, Florence is close enough for a day trip. So are Siena, Lucca, or even a spontaneous weekend at the seaside. Some guests hike into the hills and sleep in a mountain refuge for the night.

The real highlight? Tuscany changes with the seasons, and so does your experience of it.

I fell in love with Francesco's home when I came here in April and I immediately planned to return with my partner for the autumn. We just finished our two weeks stay working remotely and we both left recharged with full hearts.

The space was well equipped for remote working and I really enjoyed being able to step outside to be in nature during work breaks.

I enjoyed the community dinners and events that we organize for the week during our Monday meetings, it was also a great way to learn to cook different kinds of meals from others. My favorite nights are the cozy nights with our group in the wood heated barn, sharing stories and simply being. I walk away inspired by my first coliving experience and still hoping to return to Tertulia again in the future!

Tips from locals

This is not just a farmhouse. It is a regenerative space inspired by permaculture, built around community, nature, and innovation.

The neighbourhood is rural and spread out along a quiet road.

Neighbours are friendly, curious, and happy to see people who respect nature and the land. Together, we help maintain forest paths and even restore abandoned trails.

Within walking distance, you have forest, views, and endless hikes. The nearest town and train station are about an hour on foot, or a short drive away.

Groceries are in Vicchio, about 10 minutes by car, with a Coop supermarket, butcher and bakery. Fransesco favourite restaurants?  Pizzeria Mattagnano, Il Caldetino, Trattoria Giotto, and Montelleri.

No food delivery here. Just a vegetable garden you can pick from.

"This began as a life choice in 2005, restoring an abandoned farm to live closer to nature and learn DIY and farming skills. Today, it is a regenerative coliving built to grow with community."
