Accommodation

Whether you choose a shared apartment or a private studio, you'll be part of the same community, with the coworking space at its heart. Weekly events, spontaneous adventures and a dedicated community manager make it easy to meet people and feel at home.

HELENA'S SHARED APARTMENTS

Just steps from Trogir's Old Town, with Hive Five Coworking in the same building. Stay in a two or three bedroom apartment with welcoming shared spaces that host some community events.

HELENA'S STUDIOS

A few minutes from Hive Five Coworking on a quiet street. 3 fully self-contained studios for anyone who enjoys having their own space while still being part of the crew whenever they feel like it.

WORKSPACE

Trogir's first coworking space

The original coworking space sits inside Trogir's UNESCO-listed Old Town, perfect if you enjoy working among cafés, restaurants and centuries-old streets. Right next door, Hive Five's second coworking space opens in September, with more room to focus and modern work facilities.

Both spaces are bright, comfortable and built for productive workdays. The new coworking includes a shared kitchen and lounge where Nomadico guests and local members will naturally cross paths, making it easy to build connections beyond the coliving community.

COMMUNITY

Nature · Turquoise Waters · Calm

Life in Trogir revolves around simple pleasures: good coffee, the sea, time outdoors and making space for the people around you.

You'll hear "pomalo" a lot, it means take it easy. It's not just a word, it's how people live here, making time for what matters even when life gets busy. The locals (Dalmatians) remind you that life isn't something to rush through, it's something to enjoy ;)

In Trogir, community life tends to happen outdoors: coffee by the sea on the Riva, sunrise walks towards Čiovo island, a swim at Pantan, a sunset at the promenade, fish boat watching, and dinners at Capo that bring people together.

What works well is the balance: a productive day, then the sea minutes later, and adventure on the weekends. Everyone helps co-create an authentic experience where stories, culture, and connection come together mindfully, without the rush.

Trust us, you’ll be whispering "pomalo" to yourself by day one ;)

Trogir & The Dalmatian Coast

Trogir is small enough to feel like a local within days, medieval streets, Venetian architecture, a UNESCO-listed old town on its own island, connected to the mainland and Čiovo by bridges.

You have it all here: a Mediterranean climate, the sea, nature, a small historic city and fresh local food (including amazing olive oil!).

But you're never far from more: Split is 30 minutes away, Šibenik, Omiš and Primošten within the hour, and islands like Brač, Hvar and Šolta an easy trip from Split. For hiking, Kozjak and Mosor have proper Adriatic views, and Krka National Park makes a fabulous day out.

Oh, and did we mention ziplining, rafting and sailing are all within an hours reach too? The Dalmatian coast is a gem of a region.

Old Town, Trogir

The Nomadico homes are located just minutes from Old Town. One of the best things about staying here is how little you need a car. Everything you need is walkable: cafés, restaurants, the sea, gyms, bakeries, a fish market, or stock up at Ribola and Tommy Market.

Tinel, Smokvica, Agape and Cucina all make great spots for coffee, a relaxed lunch or an afternoon of work. Turquoise ceramics show up everywhere (very Croatian), the coffee machines are serious business, and the mouthwatering treats will justify that screen break.

Wander the streets after and you'll see why people call this town cinematic (think Game of Throne vibes). It's genuinely that magical.

The locals are always happy to share a recommendation, and feel genuinely curious about anyone who sticks around, especially with a host like Helena to help introduce you to everyone.

Helena

Meet our local partner

Helena has always believed that small places can build great communities. She opened Trogir's first coworking space before partnering with Nomadico to launch its first coliving, bringing together entrepreneurs, creatives and travellers who enjoy sharing ideas and supporting one another.

Ask her for a restaurant recommendation and you'll probably leave with three. Sit down for a coffee and you'll quickly understand why community means so much to her. Helena believes the best connections are built through kindness, curiosity and simply making people feel welcome.

"I love creating places where people can meet, exchange ideas, and feel like they belong. The most beautiful ideas often come from smaller places and people who genuinely care. Let's enjoy it, learn from each other, and build something special together."

Downtown, Trogir

2 Shared apartments & 3 Studios

  • Sea / waterfront: 2-min walk

  • Trogir Old Town: 2-min walk

  • Grocery stores: 1-2-min walk (Ribola, Tommy Market)

  • Gym: 4-min walk (several options nearby)

  • Split Airport: 10-min by car or bus

Such a magical little medieval town on the Dalmatian coast. I loved getting lost in the old limestone paths, Romanesque buildings and cozy cafes surrounded by crystal blue ocean.

There’s so much to explore, from island boat trips and local markets to sailing, cycling and olive oil tastings. But the highlight was our host, Helena, who welcomed everyone with open arms and made us feel like locals from day one."

FAQ

How to get to Nomadico?

Fly into Split Airport, then take local bus 37 straight to Trogir. It runs every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 30 on weekends, and the stop is about a 10-minute walk from the apartments. Prefer not to take the bus? A taxi or private transfer can be arranged instead. Either way, we'll send you the exact map pin before you arrive, Trogir's old town streets can be tricky to navigate from an address alone.

Kitchen & laundry facilities

If you're staying in one of the apartments, you'll have access to a fully equipped shared kitchen. If you've booked a studio, you'll have your own kitchenette.

All apartments and studios come with their own washing machine.

Public transport - do I need to rent a car?

No, most of daily life here is walkable. Buses cover day trips to Split and Šibenik, though a car gives more flexibility for spots like Krka National Park or the Zrmanja river.

How to book & pay

Booking is easy through the Nomadico website. Simply choose your room, select your dates, and complete your booking online. We accept secure online payments by credit card, Google Pay, Apply Pay, iDeal and more. Our team is always happy to help if you have any questions before booking.

Is it expensive?

Trogir sits in the medium range for cost of living. Expect around €1.80-4 for a coffee, €3-5 for a beer, and €10-20 for a casual meal.

Coworking - can I take calls & rely on good Wi-Fi?

Yes. Hive Five, Trogir's first coworking space, sits right next to Helena's Apartments in a bright, quiet space built for focused work

Nearby shops

Ribola and Tommy Market cover daily groceries, both walking distance. For anything bigger, Split's shopping center is about 30 minutes away. But everything you need for a comfortable stay is right in Trogir.

What to do in the area

Walk the UNESCO-listed old town, swim off the waterfront, or take the roughly two-and-a-half-hour round walk to Seget Vranjic. For day trips: Split is 30 minutes away, Šibenik and Primošten about an hour, and islands like Brač, Hvar, and Šolta are an easy ferry ride in season. Krka National Park is a solid pick for a nature day.

Is it safe?

Very safe. Trogir is small and close-knit, and no particular areas or situations need extra caution. The local emergency number is 112.

Is there a community manager?

Yes! Our Nomadico community manager will help you get settled, organize hikes, dinners, and fun adventures with other nomads.
