From May to September, Taghazout Bay slows down and the vibe gets even more relaxed. The surf is still fun, with mellow waves perfect for beginners and intermediates, and you’ll have more space to yourself both in the water and around town. The beaches are quieter, cafĂ©s are less crowded, and you can really soak up the laid-back atmosphere. Days are warm and sunny, but not too hot - just right for exploring the coast or heading up into the mountains for a sunset tagine. If you’re looking for a slower pace, easy surf, and a chance to connect with the local community, this is the perfect time to visit.

How to get to Taghazout Bay

Taghazout Bay is easy to reach—just fly into Agadir Airport, which is about a 45-minute drive away. There are also buses and taxis from other Moroccan cities like Marrakech and Essaouira. Many nomads continue their journey along the coast to places like Imsouane or Essaouira, or even head inland to explore Marrakech. If you’re up for more adventure, consider hopping over to the Canary Islands or exploring other parts of Morocco. And if you haven’t been yet, Agadir is worth a visit for its markets and beach vibes.
