COMMUNITY
Peaceful · Nature · Friendly
Life at Kamal's home follows a slower rhythm. Mornings begin with a few yoga stretches (or a coffee) on the terrace while the village wakes up below, before guests head off to surf, cowork, or simply soak up the warmth of the local Tamraght community. Evenings bring people together through shared meals, terrace chats, beach bonfires, epic sunsets and small plans that form naturally.
Weekends are for exploring the dunes, Paradise Valley, browsing Agadir Souk (the biggest market in Africa) or surf trips along the coast. From hosts to guests and our Community Manager, everyone helps co-create the experience.

Upper Tamraght
Perched above the village of Tamraght, Upper Tamraght offers a quieter pace while staying connected to everything you need. Friendly neighbours greet you in the street, children play outside until sunset, and it's not unusual for the local cats and dogs to stop by for a hello. Learn a few words of Darija and you'll quickly feel part of the rhythm of village life.
Local cafés, restaurants, surf schools, and Banana Point are all within walking distance, while the elevated setting rewards you with panoramic ocean views, cooler evenings, and some of the best sunsets around (no car required).
Start the day with a specialty coffee at Hey Yallah (they host fun mini market pop-ups too), settle in for a day of work at Manzili or Amsiln, or catch a surf at Banana Point before ending the day at Le Mirage, watching fishermen and surfers drift by.
Fancy some TLC? Unwind with a sunset yoga session or head to Kalananda, a peaceful yoga shala between Tamraght and Aurir offering everything from meditation and singing circles to Ashtanga and Animal Flow classes led by local teachers.
Meet our local partner
After spending years living in France, Kamal returned to Morocco because he believes Tamraght is such a special place to live. Today, he's building businesses that contribute to his home country. Besides collaborating with Nomadico, he's also working on an initiative that encourages talented Moroccans living abroad to return home, start businesses, and help shape Morocco's future. That same mindset is what drew him to partner with Nomadico. His goal is simple: help guests experience the lifestyle that made him fall in love with Tamraght.

"I chose to build my business here because I genuinely believe Tamraght is one of the best places to combine work, well-being, and adventure. I wanted to create a place where people can feel at home, stay productive, and connect with like-minded travelers."

"I've stayed in several locations in Tamraght, and what I loved about Kamal's home was how peaceful it felt. You're just a short walk from the beach, cafés, and coworking, but away from the busiest streets. I slept incredibly well, worked productively, and still had plenty of time to surf. If you're looking for a calmer base without missing out on everything Tamraght has to offer, this is the place."

FAQ
How to get to Nomadico?
The easiest way to reach Nomadico is by flying into Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA), around a 40–45 minute drive from the house. We can help arrange an airport transfer, or you can take a taxi directly to Upper Tamraght. If you're already travelling through Morocco, buses to Agadir are frequent, followed by a short taxi ride to the coliving.
If you are coming from Marrakesh, check out souktosurf.com for an easy shuttle transfer. It takes 4 hours, goes straight to Tamraght (stops at Hey Yallah) and costs €25.
Kitchen & laundry facilities
You'll have access to a fully equipped shared kitchen where guests often cook together after a day of work or surfing. Laundry facilities are available at the house, making longer stays comfortable and easy.
Public transport - do I need to rent a car?
Not at all. Most guests explore Tamraght on foot, with beaches, cafés, coworking spaces, and restaurants all nearby. Taxis are super affordable for trips to Taghazout and surrounding villages. If you'd like to explore places like Paradise Valley, Imsouane, or Essaouira at your own pace, renting a car for a day or two is a great option.
How to book & pay
You can book directly through Nomadico’s website. Depending on the stay, you’ll either confirm instantly or send a request first. Payment is handled online, with clear steps during checkout.
Is it expensive?
Compared with most of Europe and North America, no. Morocco offers excellent value for longer stays. Depending on where you eat, you can enjoy a local meal for €2–3, a casual café lunch for €5–10, or dinner at a great restaurant for €10–15. Choose what fits your budget that day.
After booking your stay, you'll receive our local welcome guide packed with our favourite recommendations for everyday life. From picking up fresh fruit and vegetables at the Tuesday market to cooking at home a few nights a week and eating out the rest, it's easy to enjoy Tamraght without spending a fortune.
Coworking - can I take calls & rely on good Wi-Fi?
Yes. Every room comes with a desk and reliable fiber Wi-Fi, with casual work spots throughout the house. Your stay also includes 3 days at Amsiln Coworking, just a 10-minute walk away, with phone booths, meeting rooms, and a photography studio. Prefer working from a café? Manzili Cowork Café is only a five-minute walk away.
Nearby shops
Everything you need is within walking distance. You'll find cafés, bakeries, small supermarkets, surf shops, restaurants, and pharmacies throughout Tamraght.
What to do in the area
Surf world-class waves, join a yoga class, hike to Paradise Valley, or watch the sunset from the viewpoint above Upper Tamraght. Spend your evenings discovering local cafés and street food, or take day trips to Taghazout, Imsouane, the Timlaline Sand Dunes, Agadir, or Essaouira. There's always something to explore, whether you're looking for adventure or a slower pace.
Is it safe?
