If you’re craving some downtime, grab a spot at the natural pools in Porto Moniz or Seixal—perfect for a swim and some sun. For a taste of local life, swing by Taberna da Poncha for a glass of Madeira’s famous drink and some peanuts. How to get to Madeira

Madeira is easy to reach, with direct flights from many European cities landing at Funchal Airport. Ferries also connect the island to mainland Portugal if you’re up for a scenic journey. Many nomads continue their adventures to the Azores, Lisbon, or even hop over to Spain or Morocco. If you have extra time, I highly recommend exploring Porto or Lisbon—both cities have a great vibe and are perfect for digital nomads.
