XS Cafe
XS Cafe is located in Jardim do Mar, just in front of the main church in Prazeres. It's a pleasant, inviting place serving great pastries, specialty cakes, and excellent specialty coffee. Don’t miss the vegan apple pie. The food is delicious, served quickly, and the coffee is consistently excellent.
Restaurante Tarmar
Offering a taste of delicious Madeiran cuisine in a serene oceanfront setting, Tarmar is a must-visit in Jardim do Mar. The limpets, octopus, skewered meat, mango prawns, and traditional Madeiran desserts are all worth trying. Don’t miss the Portuguese creamy liqueur with hints of cocoa, caramel, and coffee.

How to get to Madeira

If you have extra time, I highly recommend exploring Porto or Lisbon—both cities have a great vibe and are perfect for digital nomads.
