Guinea Nomad
What is a Guinea Nomad?
A guinea nomad is a playful term we use at Nomadico for guests who volunteer to stay at a brand-new location before its official launch. In exchange for a big discount (usually 50%), they give us valuable feedback about the home, workspaces, and overall experience - helping us fine-tune everything for future guests.
Think of it like being a digital nomad beta tester - helping shape the space before it goes live.
Why Does the Term Matter for Remote Workers or Digital Nomads?
Not every coliving space is fully polished on day one - and some remote workers love being part of the creation process. Guinea nomads get a great deal, a bit of adventure, and a chance to help shape a future coliving home with their honest input.
It also means you get to experience a place before it fills up - a calm before the community storm.
How Does Nomadico Relate to Guinea Nomads?
Guinea nomads are a key part of how we launch new homes. When we’re working with a new partner who’s still learning what remote workers need, we invite a small group of trusted guests to try the space early. We ask for quick feedback through a form, a WhatsApp chat, and sometimes a short video call.
This helps us improve the experience quickly, and lets the guinea nomads be part of the evolution of the home - while enjoying a more affordable stay.
Common Misconceptions About Guinea Nomads
“It’s just a marketing trick.”
Nope - we truly rely on their input to improve everything from desk setups to WiFi to kitchen gear.
“It’s only for influencers or VIPs.”
Not at all. Anyone from our community can apply - we just ask that you’re honest, proactive, and respectful.
“The home won’t be livable yet.”
We never invite guests before the essentials are ready. It’s about refining the details, not testing safety or basic comfort.
