Meet Digital Nomad Joelle
Hi, I’m Joelle,
for the past two years, I’ve been traveling the world as a Digital Nomad. After working as a growth marketer in a traditional job, I took the leap and became a full-time entrepreneur just a few months ago. As the founder of RemoteWork.Deals, I test and verify remote work facilities across the globe, always on the hunt for the best spots for Digital Nomads like me.
Coliving spaces are my go-to accommodation because they allow me to connect instantly with like-minded people. It’s easy to make new friends, join fun activities, and build meaningful relationships.
In October 2024, I spent an entire month at Nomadico Coliving in Mallorca. It was their first month open, and what a month it was! In this blog post, I’ll share my experience with Nomadico and why it might just be the perfect fit for your next remote work adventure.
Why Mallorca?
My partner and I chose Mallorca for one main reason: we both wanted to soak up a bit of late summer sunshine. I’d been to the island before, but that was during a party holiday, so this time, I wanted to see it through a more grounded perspective.
October turned out to be the perfect time. The tourists were mostly gone, and the temperatures were still amazing, think 23°C to 30°C during the day. I also knew that Mallorca was popular among Digital Nomads, with a growing community on the island, and that’s always a bonus for me.
Why Nomadico Coliving?
I first heard about Nomadico through other Digital Nomads I met while traveling. Everyone spoke so highly of it, and it was consistently recommended. I’d been following them on social media for a while, so when I saw they were opening a new location in Mallorca, I didn’t hesitate to book.
Another big factor? Nomadico is one of the few affordable colivings out there. Budget matters when you’re traveling long-term, and they’ve managed to keep things accessible without compromising on quality.

Getting There
Nomadico Mallorca is located in a small village called Búger, about 20–25 minutes from both the airport and Palma, the island’s main city.
We traveled by ferry from Valencia and brought our car, which made getting there super easy. If you’re flying in, you can take a bus or taxi, but honestly, I’d recommend renting a car. The village is quite remote, so having your own transport makes a big difference. It’s also handy for grocery runs, as the local supermarket is small and a bit pricey.
The House
One word: amazing. The house felt like home from the moment I arrived. The interior design is warm and inviting, with plenty of communal spaces, a fully equipped kitchen (plus an outdoor one!), a swimming pool, a separate coworking space, and spacious bedrooms with comfy beds.
What really stood out was how much effort the hosts put into making the place feel special. They cooked for us a few times and even organized workshops on things like vegetable gardening and aromatherapy. You can tell they’re genuinely passionate about what they do, and that makes such a difference.
The Coworking area
The coworking space is in a separate building, making it perfect for staying focused. The setup is simple and offers a quiet space without distractions. While it doesn’t include extras like ergonomic desks or additional monitors, it covers the essentials for a productive workday.
If you prefer some privacy, each bedroom has a small desk and chair where you can take calls or work in silence. The setups are straightforward but functional, and the WiFi is top-notch throughout the entire house, I never had a single issue during my calls.
I mostly worked from the outside area, there’s a big table and enough plugs, I loved it.
The Community
One of the highlights of my stay was the people I shared the house with. Faith, our community manager, did an amazing job of bringing everyone together. At first, we were all a bit shy, but as the days went on, we started cooking together, going on adventures, and working side by side in the garden.
What I really appreciated was the balance, it was easy to connect with others, but I also felt like I had enough space to do my own thing when I needed some downtime.

Because the house is in a quiet village, it’s a little harder to connect with the larger Digital Nomad community on the island, which is mostly centered in Palma. But if you have a car, it’s just a short drive away.
Mallorca's Nature
Mallorca itself is stunning. During my month there, we explored so many beautiful spots—hidden beaches, hiking trails, bike rides and even rented a boat one day. We also ate incredible local food and attended a local event in the village.
It’s the kind of place where you can really strike a balance between work and play. Whether you want to relax or go on an adventure, Mallorca has something for everyone.
Is Nomadico Mallorca worth it?
For me, absolutely. I loved my time there, the island, the people, and the cozy vibes of the house all made it an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a coliving that feels like a real home and offers the chance to connect with amazing people, Nomadico Mallorca is definitely worth checking out.
