Coliving in Seoul

Coliving in Seoul hits with the same energy the city itself does - fast, efficient, a little quirky, and strangely addictive. This is a place where your gym clothes might be waiting for you at the locker room, where you can clean your shoes at a dust-blowing station after a hike, and where the subway is so spotless it almost feels disrespectful to step on it.

Living here long-term can be a challenge (especially if you’re vegetarian), but for digital nomads, Seoul’s coliving scene is a sweet spot. Neighborhoods like Yeonnam-dong feel cozy and creative, full of indie cafés, brunch spots, and little side streets that feel more “Brooklyn” than megacity. Coliving houses like Trick Art Guesthouse or Hoppin Life plug you right into a community, making it easy to meet people, share meals, and explore Seoul together.

If you thrive on efficiency, great coffee, late-night energy, and endless things to do, Seoul is an unforgettable base.

Coworking Seoul

Seoul has no shortage of great places to get work done, but if you want a mix of focus, comfort, and community, two spots really stand out. Hoppin House (map) is a 24/7 coworking and coliving hub that feels instantly welcoming. The shared spaces are clean, refreshed often, and designed with remote workers in mind - good chairs, sturdy desks, free coffee, snacks, phone booths, and a meeting room. The vibe is very “startup house”: a little rustic, full of personality, and packed with people from all over the world working in different fields. The neighborhood around it is wonderfully calm, yet you’re just minutes from transit, cafés, and restaurants. It’s an ideal setup for longer stays or anyone looking to meet people while staying productive.

On slower days, Grain Seoul (map) offers a brighter, more café-style workspace. It’s known for its build-your-own brunch and friendly staff, but plenty of people quietly work here from morning to afternoon. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and dependable laptop-friendly tables make it a solid weekday base.
